For those that don't know, we have a fantastic resource for long-term food storage right here in Kansas City called the LDS Cannery. They sell long-term canned goods, at a very reasonable price. Most of the items they sell are in #10 cans and have a 30 year shelf life.
The lady I spoke to today confirmed they are selling food preparations to members outside of the church (I have no affiliation with LDS Cannery or the LDS Church).
She recommended calling ahead to make sure they know you're coming and they have available items for what you're looking for. This week, she said they are out of black beans, wheat, and a few other things.
She also said you go there in person to order and pay and they only take credit cards and debit cards. Here is a link to their order form, but they also have order forms there:
